Bamboo Paneling

These useful finished bamboo panels are made from split canes, finished to about 1/4 inch-wide strips or 1/2 inch-wide strips, bonded to a light cotton backing material. The panels are just under 1/8" thick. Each size is available in natural color and a brown color, made by heating the bamboo during finishing. The heated bamboo turns a rich golden brown naturally. No stains are used so the color will last and cannot be worn off. These panels are flexible in the 6 foot direction and can be glued to almost any surface to give it a great bamboo look. It can even be wrapped around poles or curved objects as small as 1" in diameter. Use it to give furniture a face lift, as wainscoting on the wall or to panel the side of your hot tub. Bamboo is very hard and durable and can be used indoors or outdoors.

The quarter-inch panel is shown wrapped around a one and a half inch pole. The quarter-inch panel will make a tighter turn than the half-inch panel.
