These ornate bamboo carvings are made from the cane of the bamboo. They are carefully dried and finished for long life. Each is completely unique as the artist takes advantage of the infinite variations in the natural plant. |
The single vase is 14 inches high and over 4 inches in diameter. |
The double vase is 12 inches high and is made from the part of the bamboo just above the roots. You can see the nodes are close together. |
The carved basket is 12 inches wide and 19 inches tall. |
